HVAC Repairs: Arrived at the client’s home after reports of unusual noise coming from the air conditioning system. Inspected the unit and found a worn-out fan motor causing vibration and reduced airflow. Replaced the faulty fan motor, tested the system, and confirmed proper operation and quiet performance. Informed the client that the AC is now functioning normally.
AC Repairs: Arrived at the client’s home to investigate the AC system not cooling properly. Inspected the unit and found a low refrigerant charge due to a leak in the evaporator coil. Repaired the leak, recharged the system to manufacturer specifications, and tested operation. Verified proper cooling performance and informed the client that the system is now functioning efficiently.
I identified and repaired a water leak at the back of the evaporator coil. This fix ensures the HVAC system runs efficiently, prevents further water damage, and helps maintain proper indoor air quality for the home.
Completed tune-up on Goodman GMVM97 furnace. Tested igniter resistance (40Ω), verified inducer motor RPM (3450), inspected heat exchanger with borescope (no cracks), and measured gas pressure (3.4"WC). Cleaned flame sensor, restored 2.8μA signal. ECM blower motor performing at optimal CFM. System now operating at 96.5% AFUE with proper static pressure (0.4"WC).
